During my freshman year I was fortunate enough to being a key member on the winning JV league championship team, but golf is not the only sport I have competed in or participate in at a high level. I have competed in surfing and skateboarding competitions, played baseball and football for several years, and enjoy snowboarding. By playing multiple sports I was able to grow and learned more about myself and what I can accomplish in life. I have learned how to push myself beyond what I thought I could accomplish, in order for me to achieve my goals I have to trust and believe in myself fully. There are many experiences in my life that have helped me become into the athlete I am today, at a young age I became interested in sports because my dad is a sports fanatic and is always exposing me and encouraging me to try a variety of sports. In doing so I always played up an age division in each sport, by playing with older and stronger kids I had to work harder than everyone else to become one of the top players on my team or in my division. All these experiences have lead me to find my passion for golf. Personal experiences that have help shaped me to the man I am today is my mom’s love for travel. I have been lucky enough to have travelled to various areas around the world from Hawaii, to Costa Rica, to Dominican Republic, to Ecuador, many times, to The Galapagos, Nicaragua, France, England, and Mexico for mission trips. So there you go, now you know a little bit more about me.
