Hi! My name is Rollen Ellsworth and I am a freshmen playing Varisty Golf at Mira Mesa High School. I have been playing golf for about 4 years but have been only taking it seriously about 6 months ago. I am a current member of "The First Tee of San Diego: Pro Kids." I may not be the best golfer however, I am very dedicated to fitness. I workout 6 days a week at least 1 hour doing calisthenics or bodyweight exercises. Being overweight as a child I was determined to change and I went from being obese to now happy and healthy. With that level of dedication I believe with the right coaching and lots of practice my golf game will vastly improve. Furthermore, I don't care about scoring, at the end of the day I care about how I react to bad shots and my sportsmanship on the course.
Concerning Academics, as of the 1st semester I had already earned 10 credits. I am taking a year higher than average for my math class. As I am not taking any honor/AP classes this year, I plan to take one AP class next year along with two honors classes. As of right now my GPA is a 4.0 from first semester. I take part in the club the Challenged Athletes Foundation to help others and earn community service hours. Concerning future schools and jobs, I'm not so sure about them yet.
