Graham Nash '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Graham Nash and no, I'm not related to the more famous Graham Nash.  I am a golfer, and although like my namesake I do play guitar, my dream is to play college golf and hopefully move into a professional playing career.  I know I will get there and I am working on bringing my tournament scores up to the level of my non-tournament scores.  I love the game and I spend all of my community service hours teaching it top elementary school kids at local public schools working with the TGA of Conejo Valley.

One of the things I love most about golf is the bond between players and the sport's unique type of competition where you cheer your teammate but also try to beat him in order to attain individual goals.  Few sports offer this dynamic and I embrace it by always inspiring and encouraging my peers.  In fact, I was honored with the Most Inspiring Player Award during my first year of high school golf for my ability to encourage my fellow players and promote a positive and fun team atmosphere. In addition, last year I earned a Scholar Athlete Award for my academic achievement while playing for the varsity team. I am focused on my future goals and know there is a lot of hard work in front of me.  I am at the course day-in and day-out and am playing local tournaments whenever I can in order to get better every single day.  I look forward to the challenges that await me and to following my dreams of playing college golf.
