Personal Statement

I am a class of 2024 student-athlete that will be graduating from Brighton High School in Brighton, Colorado. I was committed and signed an NLI at Regis University in Denver, Colorado to play golf for the Men's Golf Program starting in the Fall of 2024, but I have been made aware that the university is cutting it's golf program effective immediately. Because of this I am reopening my golf recruitment in search of a school that will challenge me in the classroom as well as on the golf course. I carry a 4.19 GPA and am currently ranked 49/514 in my class. I am a four-year varsity letter winner, 4 time all conference golfer (3X 1st team, 1X 2nd team) and qualified for the state golf championship in 2022 and 2023. I also qualified for the Colorado State Junior Amateur in 2022 and 2023, taking medalist honors at the qualifier in 2022. I currently play on the Colorado PGA Junior Tour Cup Series, which is the top junior golf offering in Colorado, as well as competing in Colorado Golf Association tournaments. I am interested in studying sports psychology and sports management as a major and have a goal of becoming a college golf coach in the future.
