Personal Statement

 Accomplishments:

 Childhood, High School and College

1. I attended Arapahoe High School in
Littleton, Colorado. 

2. I played on the golf team for four years. 

3. I went to the State Championship in 2015 (77, 78).

5. Competing in the 2015 State Championship for the top High School teams in all of Colorado. 

6. In 2018, I played for Santa Barbara City College and competed on the golf team for every tournament. Low score was 71(-1). 

7. As well as playing in golf tournaments in High School, I played for the Rocky Mountain Junior Golf Tour, Colorado Junior Golf, and Colorado Golf Association. 

9. Attended Regis University and had 1 top 10 finish and Averaged (75) through the years being there.

10. I have played in the RMAC for two years.

11. Qualified for the Colorado Match Play, Colorado Amateur Championship, and played in the Colorado Open Qualifier.

12. I won the South Suburban Men’s Club Championship (-3 through 3 days) 2020.

PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS

1. I competed in gymnastics from ages 4-12 years old. 

2. I won many medals in gymnastics meets when I was younger. I was always competing in official gymnastics tournaments every weekend.

3. From ages 5-14 I competed in football. 

4. While I played football, I was quarterback.

5. Team won the Superbowl for the State of Colorado. 

7. I have never dropped below a 3.0 GPA

  • My Coach Stated in the News, "I was very happy to see five of our guys in the 70s on the first day," said SBCC coach Chuck Melendez. "I challenged the guys to really focus on their games. This is a tough course with tough greens." Our team placed 5th and I shot 83 and 82. In this tournament there were 13 teams. (Bakersfield College, College of the Desert, Handcock College, Cypress College, Glendale College, Irvine Valley College, Monterey Peninsula, Mt. San Antonio College, Mt San Jacinto College, Palomar College, Santa Barbara City College (My team), Ventura College, and Taft College.

  • At Regis University I workout at 6 am at morning workouts. The team then is required to workout 3 times a week outside morning workouts. I squat 225, bench 195, and can run 5 miles. My typical workout at the gym consists of weight training, cardio, and flexibility. Working out is very important for endurance on and off the course.
