Amelia Davis '21 Recruiting Profile

Volleyball has become a huge part of my life. I look forward to going to practice and seeing my teammates and working hard. Making a team at Colorado Juniors was the best feeling ever. Since I have been on 16-Ashley at Colorado Juniors I have grown as a person and as a volleyball player. Since I have been there my vertical has increased to 10', I have become better at hitting and blocking. Every coach at my club is impressed with how far I have come since I joined Colorado Juniors.

I am 6'5" and a middle blocker. My approach jump is 10' and my block jump is 9'1". I live in Denver, Colorado and I attend Arapahoe High School in Littleton, Colorado. I play for Arapahoe and I also swim for my high school. I play club volleyball at Colorado Juniors in Monument, Colorado.

I am not only a good athlete but I am also a great student. Currently, I have a 4.0 while taking two honors classes, and in advanced math. I am ranked 5 out of 556 and take my schoolwork very seriously. I work hard to get a good grade on every assignment and complete the assignment to the best of my ability. 

I would be a good candidate for your team not only because I am 6'5" and can hit and block but because I am a great teammate and a hard worker. I am very coachable and apply the changes coaches give me the best I can. My personality will fit in with anyone, everyone I know sees me as a very kind, happy and funny person. I believe that I am a good teammate and encourage my team to do the best they can. You will not have to worry about me having an attitude or not working hard. Also, you won't have to worry about me and my grades and schoolwork.
