My earliest childhood memories are the times I spent on the local golf course. I would have my parents drop me off daily at the course where I could practice chipping, putting and other aspects of my game. I was lucky enough to live in a small rural town where junior golfers were allowed to play for free and the golf pro would take young golfers under his wing and help develop their skills and give them a passion for the game. The town I live in has had a dominant high school golf team, which I am a member and has given me a strong desire to continue competitive golf into college.
I believe that good grades are one key to achieving your goals in college and beyond . Showing discipline in school as well in sports shows maturity and dedication to being a good steward to those around you. My desire is to be a good example for those that I represent and to be an asset to my team.
My goals for college are to attend a university that will allow me to play golf as a student athlete as well prepare me for a future later in life.
