Sydney Bell '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sydney Bell and I am a 16 year old Junior at Montrose High School in Montrose, Colorado.  I love to golf and travel with my family. My older brother is currently a sophomore golfer at Allegheny College in Pennsylvania and he is the one who sparked my passion for the sport when I was 11 years old. Some of my favorite memories revolve around me and my family playing golf for fun, or in competitive tournaments across the country.  We always try to play at one really nice course while on vacation and some of my favorites include Trump National Golf Club, Whistling Straits, Indian Wells, and Shadow Ridge. I really hope to join a college golf team where the players support one another and where there is a good balance between competitive golf and academics. I enjoy learning new things and working with my teammates to achieve success together. 

I am involved in many other things such as the Valley Youth Orchestra (Chamber Violinist), the high school Rotary Interact Club (currently President-Elect), the Montrose Youth City Council (currently Mayor), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), and the Magic Circle Players Community Theater.  I also enjoy school and my current GPA is 3.93 and I am in several AP classes. My goal is to attend a college where I might be able to continue my passion for golf and theater, while still focusing on my academics. I hope to become a Pediatrician some day.
