When it comes to sports, I love Football and Formula 1 racing, but I am most passionate about Golf, and seldom miss an opportunity to play.
I started playing Golf, using plastic clubs, when I was only three years old. It has been my dream to play at the collegiate level ever since the age of ten, when I first competed in a junior Golf tournament.
My love for Golf, and my determination to tirelessly work to improve myself both on and off the course are two of my greatest strengths, which have brought me far as an athlete, as I am currently the 10th ranked high school golf athlete in the State of Connecticut, for the Class of 2024.
Every time I go to practice, whether it be on the range or in the short-game area, my goal is to leave a better player than I was at the beginning of practice. And when I step on the course, I give it my 100% and I push myself to the limit even though I may be having an off day on the course.
My strength is my putting, as I have always considered myself a decent putter of the golf ball, with a high level of awareness or putting IQ on the greens.
I was selected as Captain of my high school varsity team in both my sophomore year (2021) and junior year (2022), and I ranked T-2nd and T-9th respectively in the individual stroke play events conducted by the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) Championships with scores of 73 (+3) and 74 (+3) in the finals played during these past two seasons.
While I strive to push myself on the course, I also push myself in the classroom. I take every opportunity to challenge myself as a student and work hard to be a successful and a well-rounded student athlete. As a sophomore, I took four challenging AP classes, and am continuing it my junior year with four AP classes.
Academically my interests lie in business, finance, economics, and mathematics.
My efforts in school and hard work in golf have taught me a lot about perseverance, teamwork, and attitude. I want to bring these qualities to a college team and will continue to work hard to become a valuable member of your “team” while being influential and impactful both on and off the course.
