Swing VideoDuring the past few years, my golf success has been pronounced. I have reduced my handicap index to 0.9 and have been one of the most consistent performers on my high school golf team. This High School golf season, I won the Most Outstanding Golfer Award for the NCCC, recording the lowest 9 hole differential in the conference with a 1.33, as well as being named to the All Conference Team for the second year in a row. I was also ranked 2nd in the state individually in Division III, as well as being named All State for the second year in a row. The past two years I was also named our team's MVP. Outside of High School I play on the CT Junior PGA and Challenge Cup Tours where I have shown consistency in my golf game. In 2016, I played in 12 events, consisting of 1 win, a runner up finish, and 8 top 10 finishes. I also recorded two rounds this year in the 60’s. I finished 3rd in the CT Junior PGA Player of the year points race, and as a result was chosen to represent CT in the Remy Cup for the second year in a row. Two of the biggest highlights of this golf season was my semi finalist finish in this year's CT Junior Amateur Championship, and a win at the Pro Junior Invitational with a 3 under round 68.
Outside of high school, In 2015 I played in a total of 7 events, 3 of which were AJGA Performance Based and Junior Golf Scoreboard ranked tournaments on the CT Junior PGA. I recorded one win and two runner up finishes. As a result, I finished in 9th in the race for the CT JGA Player of the Year and was chosen to be a part of the Connecticut/Western Massachusetts Remy Cup Team.
My academics are of the utmost importance to me and golf is my passion. In the classroom I am a hard worker and always trying to progress in my academic ability. I recognize the importance of excelling in school and that is always my first priority. However, golf is another very important part of my life. I am an extremely passionate and consistent golfer with a constant desire to improve. Being able to compete on your competitive golf team while attending a highly regarded academic institution would be a dream come true.
