Christopher Shute '21 Recruiting Profile

My brother was a high school/college graduate with exceeding grades, and exceeded expectations within his athletic history. I aspire to be like him and he is one of my greatest role models in my life. I think I would be a good candidate because my brother and I talk often and I always want to be better than him just because he wants me to be better than him also, so going to a college team to play my main sport (lacrosse) would be amazing. I am a determined player who is not afraid to go up against a player larger or more skilled than me because I will accept defeat and use my loss to make myself better. I think that the thing that makes me most different from other recruits is the fact that lacrosse is what keeps me going in life. Without a sport like lacrosse I would probably be 1/3 as athletically capable as I am now, and also much less happy with myself and my school work, social life, etcetera.
