Garrett Duarte '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing golf since I was three and love the sport.  I play weekly with a PGA program and play at my high school - Saint Anselm’s Abbey School.  I have played on varsity since my freshman year.  I am excited to continue to represent a University on a sports team.

I am intellectually curious and my high school is academically rigorous.  I have taken two AP exams and received 5s.  Academics are a top priority and I want to challenge myself in all I do in college.

 I lived overseas as a child in Berlin and Brussels.  I speak fluent French and plan to continue to study French and linguistics in college.  I enjoy people from all over the world.  I hope to go on to law school and represent clients globally.

For me, golf is a way to meet and interact with people around the world.  I am passionate about being my best at golf and forging strong relationships with others to be an ambassador for my school.

I like to have fun in all that I do and making others laugh.  I look forward to being a team leader and fostering a strong morale amongst my teammates.
