I have been playing golf since I was 7 years old, and I love everything about it. Since the very beginning, golf had taught me to be honest and patience. It also taught me a self-awareness, how my emotion and action affect me and people around me. My commitment to my golf game has been true and relentless. With so many tournaments, the results are not always good, I learned that no matter what happened I keep going and not giving up.
I feel that throughout the years of practicing and playing golf, I’ve been preparing myself to be in a college’s team and I am confident that I am ready. If I am given the chance to play golf in college, my goal is simple. I want my team to win, and that I would put all my effort to achieve the team’s goal.
Currently in Junior year, I am an accomplished student, recently was inducted to the National Honor Society and National Latin Honor Society. My cumulative GPA is 4.17 (grade 9, 10, 11).
Other commitment worth noted is that I’ve been playing clarinet and a member of the school band since I was in middle school, now first chair in Wind Ensemble, first Tenor Saxophone in Competition Jazz Band, and going into my fourth year in Cadet Corp. program as a Cadet Major (equivalent to JROTC program).
