Cameron Riley '16 Recruiting Profile

     I started playing golf five years ago.  I naturally was acclimated to a club, and it felt right when I was on the course learning, or playing in a tournament.  As I became more serious about the sport, I realized that golf is my passion, and that I will stop at nothing to achieve my goals of playing collegiate golf. 

    Throughout the years, I have maintained great grades with a cumulative grade point average of 3.7 out of 4.0.  Also, I have been involved with many other sports and extra curricular activities.  I have held a position as an officer of the Key Club.  I have also played 2 years of JV soccer, played for the Bahamas Junior National Beach Soccer team.  Furthermore, I have represented my country on the Bahamas Junior National Golf Team in various golf tournaments in which I led us to 4th place finish in the major annual event, The CAJGC(Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championships).

    During my college years, I wish to acquire a degree in mechanical engineering.  I believe that I’m different from other recruits as I bring a work ethic that is unmatchable by anyone else.  I also bring leadership, as I am accustomed to be in pressure situations.  In terms of character, I have integrity, and keep a cool head on the course.  I am easily taught, very polite and a very respectful person.
