Leaving my family in Maryland and moving to a golf academy in Florida matured me and not only helped my golf game a lot, but grew me as a person and forced me to become more independent. Since coming to Florida, I’ve experienced many up and downs on my journey. At first it was very tough not having my family there for me but it also forced me to become more independent and mature. I also think that it has prepared me for collage as well as life in general.
I‘ve grown up around golf my whole life and started occasionally playing when I was around five years old. After moving from England to America when I was seven, I started playing more frequently and eventually dropped all other sports I was playing to focus on golf when I was about thirteen. For the most part, my dad taught me the game as he was a professional golfer when he was younger. I‘m looking for a collage where I can practice and play golf all year with great facilities. It is also important for my future collage to fit me academically and be a good environment to succeed and be pushed to become better. I know that I have what it takes to be a great player and member of your team.
