My name is Fisher Coleman-Sayer. I currently attend Marathon High School in the Florida Keys and am a member of the class of 2023. Though I started playing golf at the age of 8, I didn’t play year round until late in my junior year. I think of myself as a bit of a late bloomer with regard to golf because I didn’t start playing year round until last year and didn’t start two day tournaments until Sept 2022.
***It was determined during the ACC Showcase this summer that I do not show up on juniorgolfscoreboard.com right now, but we’re working to find out why. As a result, I’ve included some of my recent 1 day tournament scores below. ***
I would like to play golf at the collegiate level and am looking to find a school that is a good fit both athletically and academically. While living in paradise has had its advantages, as a golfer my exposure to 2 day tournament scoring has been limited. Our nearest 2 day tournaments are 6 to 7 hours away. I do utilize a swing coach (Brad Luebchow) at least quarterly in North Carolina.
In addition to sports, music and service also play a big role in my life. I am able to play a multitude of instruments including the piano which I started playing at the age of 4. I am also heavily involved in the service organizations at school including National Honor Society, Champions for Change and Academic Challenge Club. I am an honors student and currently maintain a 3.95 unweighted grade point average and was just elected student body president for the school year.

- Date: 7/18 Goals: ◦ Sub 32 putts ✓ 12+ GIRs ✓ Sub 77 ✓ Think the swing thoughts ◦ Give every putt a chance ✓ Make a birdie Tourney day - Shot a 76 (+4) at The Vintage at Staples. Hit the irons really well, super happy with that. Driver was hit or miss; a lot of really good swings but a few questionable ones including one lost ball. Putter was ice cold with lots of lip outs and a low make percentage from inside of 10 feet. I’m not really that upset about it because I’ve been working hard on my irons and a little bit on my driver. Next up is the putting and chipping. Score: 76 (+4) - Tied for 1st GIR: 13/18- 73% FIR: 3/14- 25% Putts: Front-17, Back-18, Total- 35 Scrambling: 1/5- 25% Lost Ball: 1
