I began golfing at an early age with my family for fun. My dad and I would meet my uncle and cousins for a yearly round of golf, and through this tradition my love for golf was born. In fifth grade I wanted to play on my schools golf team, so I asked my dad for private lessons. I began lessons and by seventh grade I was playing for the middle school golf team. Since then, I have played two years in high school and was awarded the MVP award as a Freshman. When I am not playing for my school, I play for a local tournament league and recently started playing in the Florida Junior Tour. I have worked hard and trained with my coaches to better my swing and advance my playing level through setting goals on the course. Throughout my lessons my coaches have also trained me on how to keep calm and think clear during matches. I am always working on improving my goals of less strokes and to one day play at the collegiate level.
