I played baseball and basketball for all my life but wanted to give golf a try during my 6th grade summer. I have always been a hard worker and put all I got into everything I do. I played middle school golf and won MVP of my team all 3 years. In 7th grade I won the city tournament along with best scoring average for the city and MVP of Middle school golf. I didn’t know what sports I wanted to play in high school but I decided to just play golf. I have qualified for regionals twice and have made it to states as an individual.
I want to play golf in college because I want to pursue my academic career while playing a sport that I love. I am in the finance program at Northeast high school so I would be looking to pursue business in college. I would make a great addition to the golf team because of my hard working attitude and being able to bring good energy to the team. I have been playing team sports for all my life and believe that I am a strong leader. I have also maintained above a 4.0 gpa for all of high school. Every year I am getting better at golf and college golf will benefit me the most with good coaching. I have been averaging in the mid to high 70’s and believe I have what it takes to play in college.
