Jacob Hair '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a senior at Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando, Florida, representing the Class of 2020.  I've been involved in individual or team sports ever since I could walk and hold a ball in my hands, and I'm excited about the opportunities to continue with this passion in college. I've always appreciated the fact that, with practice, I could get better at anything, and I'm proud of the progress and commitments that I've made and kept, both academically and athletically.

Growing up in Florida with 4 seasons of outdoor sports I was fortunate enough to try a lot of them - baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis and lacrosse were sports that I loved and spent the most time playing and practicing. I was introduced to golf in the summer of 2015 and it has changed my life. My drive and ambition to work hard every day, on and off the course, is focused on my goal of playing golf for a competitive college team, and then pursuing a professional career in golf. I take pride in my dedication to the sport, practicing at least 6 out of 7 days and maintaining a high GPA.

On a personal note, my family has gone through tremendous hardships in the last year, but we managed to overcome the obstacles that we faced and we became stronger together.  While I wish it never happened, I am thankful for what I've learned from this experience and I know now, more than ever, that when people come together to help each other, anything is possible.
