Growing up, I had always been a big fan of team sports and taking leadership on each team I played on. I played baseball in elementary school, and played hockey from middle school until midway through my sophomore year in high school. At the end of my hockey season last March, I went out and hit some balls at a local range, and from that point on, I had decided that this is a sport that I want to play and be committed to. By summer, I had already began taking lessons and my game started to take shape. I worked hard all summer and played for my high school team in the fall. To this day, golf is something that I enjoy doing, and it is something that I truly put my heart into each and everyday. Last October, I took up a job opportunity at the Club at Cheval as an assistant pro. I've taught close to 100 kids, and teaching them has taught me that I should embrace the process and have fun with it as much as I can. With that being said, working in that environment and learning at a school where the main mission is to build character has taught me a lot about myself, my decision making, and how to overall be a mature and successful person on and off the course. Additionally, I have developed a large passion for aviation over the last few years. I am a student pilot at a local air park, on track to get my private pilot's license by the time I graduate next June. Working in such a high stress environment has taught me to keep myself calm and collected, and to never given up in any circumstance.
