I am a 5'6" guard from Tampa, Florida. I started on Bishop McLaughlin HS Varsity Basketball Team as a Freshman. I received the Hurricane Pride Award as a Freshman, given to the best Team Player in Basketball. As a Sophomore, I received the Team MVP award. I lead the 3A Florida District in scoring the past 2 seasons as noted on MaxPreps. I was ranked 15th in State of Florida on Maxpreps Scoring Leaders. Currently, I have a 4.0 unweighted GPA, with a 4.5 GPA in Core Honors Classes. As a Junior I am taking AP and Honors classes. I have been awarded Principals Honor Roll Freshman and Sophmore year.
I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and court. I am pursuing Universities with outstanding academic reputations, since my goal is to be a Medical or Veterinary Doctor. My Father, who is a Spine Surgeon, has helped instill a strong work ethic in me both on the court and in the classroom.
Ideally, I would prefer an athletic program where I could make an immediate impact on the team. I believe I have the talent to compete on a college team. I have played basketball, since Elementary school, and grown to love the sportsmanship, camaraderie, and competition that basketball brings.
