Louis-Francois Charpentier '16 Recruiting Profile

I am ranked 175th on the Polo Golf Ranking in the class of 2016. I have 3 Top-5 Finishes in the last 12 months. I also have 5 Top-10 and 8 Top 20 finishes in the last 12 Months.I won a AJGA qualifier with a round of 69 at Killington in Vermont in 2015 and had a 3rd place finishes with a 67 round at the AJGA Pre-Season at Ocala in March 2015.I finished 8th in the Quebec Junior Golf Championship.

 Academically,I finished my grade 11 with a GPA of 4,40 out of 4 at Winderemere Prep School in Orlando and a cumulative SAT of 1890(Reading,Writing and Math);and a 800 on 800 in my SAT Subject Test in French.

I am a grinder who is very persistent and who loves the game of golf and winning.I am dedicated to be successful both in my studies and in golf.

I wanted to put all the chances on my side to improve my game and be exposed to the best. This is why I left home (Montrral) at the age of 17 to join Windermere Preparatory School in Orlando, one of the best Prep School in Florida, and get registered in a sport program with Core Golf Academy(Sean Foley's golf Academy). Here, I have the chance to practice every day with fantastic coaches and great teammates.I have improved  my English tremendously in the last 12 months. Golf wise I have improved my stroke average by 5 strokes so far in one year.I have a stroke average in the 74 and I am confident that I will be able to bring down my stroke average between 72 and 74 in tournaments before the end of the year 2016. 

On a Golf Team, I will bring work ethic, discipline, perseverance while being successful in my studies at the business school. I will bring all my determination to win. Coming from Canada,I am used to playing in cold and windy conditions and am ready to do all the sacrifices that are needed to work as hard as it is needed to make a difference for the team I will part of. I would like to play for a university ideally in Florida or California.
