I am looking forward to the opportunity to continue to grow and improve both on and off the golf course over the next four years. I have worked hard inside and outside the classroom this year. I performed well on the ACT, and I am currently taking five AP/Honors classes. I posted some good golf scores this summer, including a 67 in the final round of the AJGA Preview in Greenwood, SC. Although I came up just short (losing on the second playoff hole), this was a fun and valuable experience. I also posted scores of 72-71 (finishing third) at the Georgia PGA Atlanta Junior Championship and shot 74-72-76 (finishing ninth) at the HJGT Mid-Season Invitational in Kissimmee, FL. My high school varsity golf schedule begins soon (in March), and I plan to play a full slate of junior tournaments, including AJGA and SJGT events, through August. I also look forward to participating in the Future Masters in Dothan, AL this summer. I am a former travel baseball player who loves playing team sports. Although my most recent tournament results are somewhat uneven, I am confident I can compete at the highest level, and I am hungry for the opportunity to prove myself at the next level.
