Parker Houck '22 Recruiting Profile

     I am a senior at Prince Avenue Christian School in Bogart, Georgia. I am surrounded by a lot of talented golfers on our school's varsity golf team who continuously encourage and challenge me to better my game. I enjoy being part of a team. We won the 2021 Georgia High School A-Private Championship. I shot 2 under par (142) and was 5th in the individual championship. My class schedule consists of rigorous courses, and even though I am very active in two varsity sports, I still maintain a 4.0 GPA. I did not begin playing competitive golf until my freshman year. I can see that my hard work has really started to pay off as I have seen my scores lowered considerably. Playing golf at the next level would provide an opportunity for me to practice, train and learn from my coaches and teammates.  I want to continue to progress as a golfer and further develop my game while at the same time contribute to a golf team as a whole. I would really like the opportunity to play on a collegiate golf team and truly seek this as part of my overall college experience. I am looking for a college that will be a good fit both academically and athletically. 

Update: I am excited to announce that I have signed to play golf at a Division II college in Georgia.
