Zane May '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Zane May and I am a rising senior at Creekview High School in Canton, Georgia. I have been playing golf for a little over 2 years now and switched from playing baseball after playing for 11+ years. In my short-lived career in golf so far, I have managed to progress at a swift rate and quickly advanced to a high level of competition to compete with my surrounding peers. I have not had the luxury of starting early and building my foundation as early as my competition. However I have been determined and put in countless hours not only playing the game, but practicing off the course as well, whether that is in my living room, back yard, the driving range, (etc.) I have managed to drop about 8 shots over the last 10 months to get to the  level of competition that I compete against on a regular basis. As I keep putting in the countless hours and expand my horizons, I see myself continuing on the same path for success that I have already started. I pride myself as being a leader not only on the course but off the course as well. I show dedication to making not only myself better, but making  those in the community around me better, whether it is volunteering to help serve at my church, or helping with donation drives at my school with a few of the academics clubs that I am involved in. I am a dedicated and passionate young man looking for opportunities to not only contribute to a golf team but to help better myself and those around me.
