I like to think I'm a very patient player and I'm able to block out any negative thoughts during a round or life in general. This leads to consistent results which I've experienced over the last 3 years in competitions. I've got a great work ethic in that if I'm on a golf course or on the range I'm not only going to push myself to the limit buy I'll also push my teammates. I don't think too much about the past, only the present and future both in golf and in school and my daily experiences. Staying calm and having a consistent and clear mindset is critical to be successful as a member of a team and I feel I bring that everyday in all aspects of my life. I've worked very hard at blocking out negativity and mistakes or that bad hole over the last year and my results have improved dramatically. I set aggressive goals for myself and if those goals aren't all achieved, I make the next round of goals even harder to accomplish which forces me to put forth more effort and dedication. This if true both in the classroom and on the course. I also think I'm a great listener and I always do what needs to be done in order to be successful individually and as part of a team. I believe these traits and my dedication will enable me to be a great addition to a college team in the future.
