Marcus Leonard '23 Recruiting Profile

My goal over the next few years is to graduate high school with honors and earn a scholarship to college playing golf. I would be a great fit for your golf team because not only will I put up good scores I will continue to work hard to improve my scores. I feel like I am a natural leader on and off of the golf course.  After graduating from college, I would like to have a career in business marketing or golf management where I can continue to give back to my community. I think what makes me stand out from other recruits,  I enjoy volunteering in my community, as well as mentoring younger students at my school. I also persevere through challenges such as completing my 10th grade of high school completely virtual due to the pandemic, making the distinguished honor roll.  My integrity, desire to learn new things, and sportsmanship will help me make wise choices in my academic and golf journey.
