Our golf club has hosted a college tournament for many years. Ever since I was six years old I wanted to be just like them and be a collegiate player. As I continue to compete in junior events, my goals have not changed of becoming a college student / athlete. Education has been an important part of my family; understanding that a college degree is something that cannot be taken away. My current GPA is 4. 0 on a 4.0 scale. Time management is crucial for being a student athlete. I have learned how to balance golf practice and schoolwork.
One of my many goals is to make people around me better. I do my best to lead by example and work with my teammates to make the overall team improve. One of the junior tournaments I participate in recognized me with the Libby Parrish Character Award for being a positive role model and demonstrating good character on and off the course.
