Hello, I am Avery Falash and I am currently a Freshman at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, ID. I am looking at possibly transferring to a different school for the Fall of 2021 due to a coaching change. I went to Mountain View High school in Meridian, Idaho (Class of 2020). I graduated with a 3.5 GPA. I really got serious about golf 5 years ago. Ever since then I try to play, practice, and train in the gym every day to get better. My current handicap is a 0.7 and have around a 73 scoring average. My true golf aspiration is to take my game as high as it will go Professionally. Everything I do is based on becoming the best I can, golf isn't stopping after college. It would be a great experience to be able to travel and play at a school that will push me to become better. I would be able to get a college education while doing what I love most. I intend to get a degree in Kinesiology.
Outside of golf I love to travel and make videos. A couple summers ago I was fortunate enough to play golf at St. Andrews and also got to see the final round of the British Open at Royal Birkdale.
My parents instilled in me a disciplined work ethic. Quitting on anything has never been an option. I've always been a team player, and try hard to be a good leader among my peers - especially when times get tough. I think I would be a great fit for a lot of teams.
