David Koziol '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is David Koziol.  

I would like to earn a golf scholarship at a Division I college or university that provides an excellent education. I want to learn from great coaches, compete in challenging events, and be part of a team with committed and accomplished golfers.

I have played Varsity golf at Saint Viator High School since my freshman year and I have been Co-Captin Sophomore and Junior Year.  And I will be Co-Captain Senior Year.  I enjoy competing in tournaments, practicing, and continuously improving my skills.

My current 18 hole average is 76.  I qualified for the IHSA State Tournament as an individual in 2021 and 2022.  (In 2020, St. Viator did not compete in Regionals due to COVID)  I was All East Suburban Catholic Conference for three consecutive years, only the third player in St. Viator golf history.

Academically I am an Honors/AP student with a 4.6 GPA.  I am considering a career in business focused on either accounting, finance, acturial science, investment banking or fintech.

In 2023, I am focusing on improving my scoring average and increasing my top 10 finishes in all tournaments.
