Sports have always been a big part of my life. Growing up and in high school, I played golf, basketball, and baseball each at a highly competitive level and have been successful at each one. Sports have taught me a lot about myself and has challenged me in many ways both on and off the court. Over time, golf has become a passion of mine and a sport I would like to compete in at the college level. I have also always exceled academically and want to find a college that will challenge me both on and off the court.
My Dad’s family has a history of playing collegiate sports that I would like to follow in their footsteps. My Dad played collegiate baseball at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI), his brother played basketball at Wayne State College, and his sister played volleyball at South Dakota and UNI. Both of his parents also played college basketball.
