Jaxton Black '21 Recruiting Profile

From a young age, my parents have instilled in me a strong work ethic. I have carried that same discipline into playing golf. The summer of my 8th grade year, I decided to shift from competitive baseball to focus solely on the game of golf. A game I loved, but had only occasionally played. Over that summer, I set out to teach myself how to play and worked diligently on improving my swing techniques. I know given proper training and guidance, I will excel at the college level. 

Goals for my senior year include advancing to state as a team, and being a respectful and honest leader my teammates can count on. I am dedicated to staying on top of my academic mark of 4.3 GPA, while taking AP classes and working part-time. And, I will continue conditioning my talent for the next level of golf. I am confident that I can impact a college program given my work ethic, leadership and passion for the sport.
