Swing Breakdown •...Personal Statement
I ask for your consideration as a recruit to your golf program because I believe I would be a good addition to your team. I recently completed my senior golf season and competed at the varsity level all four seasons. We were just shy (four strokes) of meeting our goal and qualifying for the state tournament. I loved playing high school golf and want to continue playing golf while getting an education in college. I believe I am a good teammate, leader and I work hard to improve my game and help my team. My game improved from my junior year to my senior year, lowering my 18 hole average to 78.5. I believe I can take my game to the next level and be a positive asset to my college team. I love the camaraderie, trust and friendship that athletics can provide and would like to learn more about your program. Thank you for your consideration. John
