Hey, mine name is Emilio Bautista. I go to a small school in a small place. I’ve never had that much and pride myself on far I’ve come. I started running competively in 7th grade with track and began cross country my 8th grade year. Ever since then I fell in love with the sport of running. I try to run everyday by the ten minute rule, no matter how I feel, I try to run for at least 10 minutes everyday. I’m a farmer and I run at my house through the gravel roads around hills and ponds. I like shorter distances like 800-1600. I love trying new experiences like the steeplechase. My goal isn’t just to run in college, but excel and do something great as a team. I do the small things such as get the stuff off the bus and cheer my teammates on whenever I finish my race. I am ranked number one in my class academically with a 4.14. I also would love to run in college because it would help my education and get me further in life
