Personal Statement

I attend Monticello High school in Monticello, IL in the class of 2018. Beginning my freshman year, I helped lead our varsity team as the number one player during the second half of the season, and again my sophomore year. During those two years, I believe I have learned what makes a valuable leader and what you have to contribute when you are a leader. Leadership is a strong point in my game. This previous 2016 season, I helped lead my team to a school record tied 4th in IHSA State, as well as placing 17th individually. I would like to attend a college that suits me best, being able to play golf as well as receiving a good education. I believe that my attitude towards school work and my grades will help get me through high school, college, and the rest of my life, along with my work ethic in the sport of golf.
