Golf is so much more than a sport to me. I see it as a sport where you can not only get better and better everyday, but where you can also grow in so many more ways. By losing Regionals in a sudden death playoff, it taught me that I'd have to work for what I wanted and it wasn't going to be handed to me.
I love learning new things, and academics are where I strive to be better. I have been in the top 15% of my class for my high school career, and continuing that trend is very important for me. Golf as a sport has taught me to be humble at the losses, and be proud of the work that I have done when I am successful.
