Mason Taylor '22 Recruiting Profile

    Hello, I am Mason Taylor and I am seventeen years old. I would make a good candidate for your team because I make others around me better. I am different from the other recruits because of my work ethic and learning ability. I am very dedicated to the sport of golf and everything about it. I am a Junior in the 2020- 2021  season at Maconaquah High School.  Not only do I play golf but I wrestle as well., I am a three time conference champion in the Three Rivers Conference for wrestling and a one time champion for golf.  My scoring average for eighteen holes as a freshman was a 78.5. Sadly the boys golf season was cut short due to COVID-19, but I continued to practice all summer as well as playing in some tournaments. I will be playing in some tournaments in the fall of this year as well. I am willing to go away from home to attend college and I am willing to go to any school if it fits my needs and wants. I highly believe in being a student athlete. My favorite subject in school is English and that is where I got my interest in journalism. As I grow physically, mentally I will too. I do not have any negative attitude on the golf course, I feel it is a waste of time.
