My name is Michael Perea. I am currently heading into my senior year at Culver Military Academy in Culver, Indiana. This will be my 4th year playing on the varsity golf team as a starter and my 10th year competing in summer leagues. My high school season begins in the spring and I carry on into tournaments from the Junior Golf Alliance of Colorado, American Junior Golf Association, Rocky Mountain Junior Golf association and Junior Golf at Lakewood Country Club. I have recorded 2 first place, second place, and 6 third place finishes in summer league tournaments along with being the junior club champion at Lakewood Country Club the past three years.
As a student at an academically challenging school, grades and education are very important to me. I have always been driven to take the most challenging classes possible to test myself. In college, I hope and plan on studying entrepreneurial and financial business. At Culver, I am getting an early start by taking three entrepreneurial studies classes throughout my time there.
I am very passionate about golf and have great ambitions of playing college golf. I am a very hard working, persevering, dedicated, and prideful in everything I do. I believe I am different than others because I am leader, inspiring, and I am a very good teammate by working well with others, but most of all, I have the most heart for the game.
