Keaton Thissen '23 Recruiting Profile

In college, I am looking to further my skills as an individual and use them to be on a successful college team. I am passionate about the sport and enjoy it to the fullest. I have never not wanted to play. I have received little coaching or training and have achieved a ranking within the top 30 in the Iowa PGA Junior league standings, and had the 21st best scoring average throughout Iowa during my 2021 varsity season. I am self-reliant and can make changes to my game as needed. What makes me different is I have a lot of potential. I haven‘t yet reached peak performance and if given the opportunity, I believe I could be a good addition. I have maintained good grades while playing two other sports in high school and have not yet had the opportunity to concentrate on golf year round. I believe that if I can focus on golf in college, I could become a very competitive player at any level.
