About 3 years ago I made it my goal to play high level college golf. I have made consistent scoring improvements throughout my high school years, while also learning more about the golf swing and how to score well in tournaments. When asking coaches and teammates who have worked with me, I have been described as a “respectful, but also a very confident and competitive person”. This summer I will be playing in the Sanford Golf Series which is run by the South Dakota Golf Association. I will also be competing in local amateurs and trying to qualify for the USGA Junior Amateur. Last summer, I struggled with a hip injury, I was learning how to play competitive golf on courses I hadn‘t played before, and my scores were no where close to where I wanted them to be. However, I am fully healthy this summer and an confident that my scores will improve substantially.
