I have loved playing golf from a very young age. Walking a golf course centers me, focuses me, helps me to regain my perspective. I appreciate that golf differs from other sports in the demands of integrity it makes on the players.
My handicap and scoring average suggest I am not tour bound, but I know that I am college bound and believe that I can be a positive part of a team. In high school I have achieved a great deal in vocal music, participating in a variety of contests and state honor choirs. I am looking for a smaller school with a vibrant music and performing arts program which also has a golf team looking for solid, if not spectacular, players. I am thoughtful, considerate, supportive and dependable and very much want to hear from a coach who values these attributes as part of his or her team. Mainly, I want to get better. I want four more years to keep improving under the watchful eye of a teaching, mentoring coach. If not music, I will seek a career as a teaching pro and golf course management.
