Olivia Moore '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been swimming competitively since the 6th grade.  I played many sports growing up, but during the 8th grade I decided to focus solely on swimming.  I love being in the pool and work hard to improve.  My goal is to continue to swim when I get to college.  I love being part of my high school and club swim teams and encouraging my teammates and friends.  During my freshmen year, I earned a varsity letter and had multiple state consideration times.  During my sophomore year, I qualified for state in the 100 backstroke and in three relays.

Away from the pool, I am involved in many other activities.  I play the snare drum in our school's drumline and will be the co-captain during my junior year.  I also served as a manager for the boy's swim team during my freshman and sophomore years.  I am an active participant in my church's youth group and play the drum set in both the youth and adult praise bands.  In my spare time, I work as a lifeguard at the YMCA.
