Hello, my name is Nicklaus Mason. I will be a freshmen at Mill Valley High School in Shawnee, Kansas this upcoming school year. As a competitive golfer, I hope to continue my golf career in college. To help me achieve this goal, I have dedicated myself to ensure that I am displaying the traits of my role models both in the classroom and on the course:
1) Be engaged - Be coachable
2) Work hard - Work smart
3) Learn from your failures
4) Don't be afraid to succeed
5) Help others as you have been helped
To me, golf is more than a game. It is a lifelong sport that has already taught me many valuable life lessons that continue to mold me into a better person, a better golfer, and a better competitor.
