Hello, my name is George Fahey and I will graduate Waynflete High School in 2022. Born into a golf family, I was introduced to the game early on. Golf grabbed my serious attention only a couple of years ago, but since then I have distinguished myself as a solid player looking to become a great one.
Golf enthralls me in multiple ways, I love the pressure, the first tee nerves, the course management, and the satisfaction of improvement. But my favorite part about the game is the competition, against players and courses.
Last summer, my goals were to win the club championship at Prouts Neck Country Club and to win the Maine Class C state championship. I did both, becoming the youngest club champion in Prouts Neck history. This year I have even loftier goals. I want to prove that I can compete and thrive on the college level by bringing down my scoring average and defending my state title.

Recruited fellow high school golf teammates to help teach the program and made all of the arrangements with a local golf club for use of their facilities.
