Luke schaap '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Luke Schaap and I love playing golf. I have been playing golf since the age of three improving every year. This year I am a freshman in high school. Over the past three years I have gone from shooting in the low 80s to high 70s and this year I'm shooting around par regularly. My goal is to get a division I golf scholarship and my dream would be to play on the PGA Tour. I am extremely dedicated to the game of golf i have read multiple books on the mental game, I am currently working out 5 days a week on a workout program by TPI instructor Jason Meisch. I play golf around 40 hours in a typical week with no school, but during the school year I play 20 hours of golf not counting snow days. I am currently working with Steve Bosdosh a top 100 golf instructor. This summer I am planning to play 4 AJGA tournaments, trying to qualify for the U.S. Junior, as well as playing a numerous amount of local golf tournaments.
