I. I was introduced to the wonderful game by my father.
II. Made a decision that i can play this "game of life" called golf.
III. Went to Coach Vactor and told him I want to play for him and represent Kennedy High School. He gave me a chance.
IV. Represented my school my junior year and senior year after my dad spent numerous hours teaching me how to play, going to clinics, private lessons and help from my high school coach and my assistant coach (my father was a volunteer assistant coach at my school).
V. During the season I kept on working on my game, competed in the summer to gain more playing experience on the course. Practiced 4 - 5 times weekly (9 holes) and played 18 holes in the weekends.
Built up my strength in the weight room with my father working on golf specific exercises and strengthening my core.
VI. I plan on going to college in 2020 Fall and also play College golf. I will compete via the Mid Atlantic PGA Tour in 2020 since school competitions are now finished for the 2019/20 season.
It has been a great 2 years learning , continually developing and competing. I have now established an average of 88 for 18 holes and will continue to work on lowering my scores to 70's before entering college next Fall 2020.
Thank you for your interest in a rapidly developing, passionate and competitive player of this game.
Ben Hogan once said , “The only thing a golfer needs is more daylight .” If I could play golf every day and every night i would.
