Ryan Graves '20 Recruiting Profile

As I start my sophomore year at the College of Southern Maryland (CSM) Community College, I am in the process of looking for a college or university where I can continue both my education and lead the golf team to victory against the best players at other schools. While I would normally only have two years of eligibility remaining when I join the new school, I will actually have three years of eligibility due to the additional year added due to COVID.

I am looking for a program that recognizes what I will bring to their golf program as I continue to excel and play exceptional golf.  I am very fortunate to have Mr. Terry Shaffer as my swing coach because under his tutelage, my game has progressed to where I am competing against and out performing current players at various colleges and universities in the College Tour X (CTX) tour, finishing eighth out of over eighty players in the recently completed season. I also earned the honor of competing in the National Championships tournaments for the summer of 2020 and winter of 2021 Under Armour Junior tour. 

Coach Erik Koch is the coach of the College of Southern Maryland Golf team and is willing to talk with any coach that is interested in finding out about my first season. 

Coach Shaffer is willing to speak with any coach that is interested in finding out more about the current state of my golf game. He is the PGA Professional at the National Golf Club in Fort Washington, Maryland and the former golf coach of George Washington University, where he was named the Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year, and coached the GW Colonials to their first ever A-10 championship. 

Serge Sejour, my personal trainer with TrainWith, is willing to speak with any coach that is interested in finding out about my physical condition and how I added almost twenty pounds of muscle, while remaining flexible, and 15 to 20 yards of distance on each club with my normal, smooth, even tempo swing.
