Shea Fairbanks '19 Recruiting Profile

Ever since a little kid, I've had the dream of playing collegiate sports such as golf and baseball. Whenever I play or practice, I try to lead by example and help others by picking them up when things don't go well. I enjoy taking a leadership role and feel I am effective at getting the most out out of my teammates through encouragement. I was chosen as a Captain on my golf team in my Junior year. I am a very coachable type of person and will take any advice from coaches that will help me improve my game and skills. I have received awards for Most Improved and MVP for my golf team, as well as an All Star recognition in my school golf league.

I take pride in my academics and care about maintaining my GPA. I don't always understand subjects as naturally as some other people do, because school doesn’t always come easy to me. I put all my effort into those subjects to make improvements and my parents and I have been pleased with the outcome. I look forward to the opportunity to continue to grow as a person, student, and athlete.
