Personal Statement

My name is Noah Fay, I am currently a senior at Melrose High School in Massachusetts. I am a three-year starting varsity athlete with a current 2.5 GHIN handicap. I am the captain of our varsity golf team and I am also the #1 spot on the team. I have been playing golf for the better part of 10 years now and I have loved every moment of it. Golf has taught me discipline, hard work, perseverance, and persistence. I would love to take my golf career to the next level by competing in college. I played in several golf tournaments over the summer averaging with a score of 75.5. I look forward to the upcoming high school season. I won the Freedom League Shootout Title with two of my teammates shooting a +4 75 this year, I had tied 3rd overall individually out of 38 competitors and helped lift my team to a another League title making it five years in a row. I also received a Middlesex League All-Star Team award. I take Honors Personal Finance, Statistics, English, and Economics. I participate in the DECA club as the Vice President, I also participate in the MelroseKind Club and Melrose Veterans Memory Club. I would love for you to consider me for your program as I know it will benefit both of us.
