Hi my name is Ryan Knitter, I will be graduating in the class of 2022. I go to Bath High School which is located in Bath, Michigan just outside of Lansing. I started golfing with a friend of mine when I was in 6th grade. My friends dad started taking us to different golf courses to play and I started to really enjoy the game more and more. I started finding my love for the game back in my Freshmen year when I started playing for my school and playing more seriously. I played a little bit of JV and a little bit of Varsity my Freshmen year. In the Summer of 2019, I competed in the Drive, Chip Putt competitions and made it to the second round.
I currently have an accumulative GPA of a 3.85 and am always working to improve it. My hope is to go to college and become a Mechanical Engineer. I play 2 other sports which are football and basketball so I am always staying active throughout the year and staying in shape.
I don't like to talk about myself much but I try to be very positive towards my teammates and encourage them to be the best player they can be. I think that I am a very good team player. I also work hard to improve my own game and I seek advice and encouragement from coaches and my parents to help me along.
My goal is to play golf in college while pursuing my engineering degree.
